This is preliminary desktop screening and does not replace field delineation, a survey, or a jurisdictional determination. An unmapped location is not evidence that wetlands or flood hazards are absent. Data dates, coverage, and accuracy vary by source.
NWI polygons are served through Florida DEP’s publication and may lag the national inventory. They describe mapped wetland features, not regulatory boundaries. Acreage refers to the full selected NWI polygon, not the portion within a parcel. FEMA values describe the selected point and available effective mapping.
NWI data limitations ↗NRCS boundaries show soil map units, not hydric-only areas. The location panel reports the map unit’s hydric component percentage where available. USGS elevation is a modeled point estimate in feet, not a survey or a parcel elevation range.
NRCS Web Soil Survey ↗Parcel boundaries, LiDAR visualization, and a separate land-cover dataset are not connected in this version. Check county records and source datasets before making project decisions. Search supports addresses and places, not parcel IDs.
