Environmental information
you can work with.
We aim to make Wetland Agent usable with keyboards, assistive technology, zoom, and touch. We use WCAG 2.2 AA as a testing target and continue to address barriers; this is not a certification of full conformance.
Using the map without a mouse
- Use Tab to reach the search field, layer checkboxes, opacity sliders, and map controls.
- When the map has focus, arrow keys pan; the labeled zoom buttons change scale. “Inspect map center” returns the selected point’s information as text.
- On a small screen, use Layers or Location details to open a panel. Close it with the labeled close button or Escape.
- Enter fullscreen to expand the map; Escape or the fullscreen button returns you to the page.
Text and official-source alternatives
The EA workbench provides a county species table and source links without requiring the map. Map data notes explain the layers. Color does not establish regulatory status; read the labels, point results and original source records.
Browser support
The interactive tools target current Safari, Chrome, Edge and Firefox, including iPhone and Mac browsers. Internet Explorer cannot run the modern map; it receives a basic notice and links to the text resources. If a public data service fails, retry later or follow its official source link.
Report an access barrier
Email [email protected] or use the contact form. Include the page URL, the action you were trying to complete, and your browser or assistive technology if you wish. You can request the information in another format.
